Mohamed Youssef, the Marketing Director for CEMEA Region at Red Hat, expects to benefit from a host of opportunities at GITEX 2021

Are you participating in GITEX 2021? If yes, which products and solutions will you be showcasing at GITEX Technology Week?
Red Hat has a proud history of participating at GITEX and is delighted to be continuing this tradition at the 2021 edition. In line with an enduring commitment to foster a culture of innovation, this year will see Red Hat showcase several products and solutions set to empower communities of customers and clients in their respective digital migration journeys.

These include our latest, most influential solutions across the hybrid cloud, edge computing, automation, digital transformation, and Kubernetes native, and Red Hat looks forward to informing and inspiring all who visit throughout the event’s duration.

Furthermore, Red Hat will be joined by our global developer team at GITEX 2021 as we outline the vast benefits and capabilities that these innovations offer, as well as subject matter experts in various industries, including telecommunications, financial services, and healthcare.

What are your expectations from the event this year?
As always, we expect to benefit from a host of opportunities at GITEX 2021 alongside all participating. From a Red Hat standpoint, we are particularly looking forward to connecting with industry leaders and learning more about new trends and the latest customer demands and expectations.

At the same time, we are equally excited about our latest technologies featuring at the event. We look forward to exploring how we can provide new and existing customers with additional value, as well as engaging with them to explore how we can provide support in achieving their objectives and overcoming specific pain points and causes for concern.

What will be your theme of participation at GITEX?
We’re excited to reveal that Red Hat’s theme for GITEX 2021 will be ‘Always Open.’ Anybody familiar with Red Hat will know that as an open organization, we have always aspired to be the catalyst in communities of customers, contributors, and partners by creating better technology in an open source way.

Therefore, our theme aligns with this long-standing brand imperative. The products and solutions we are showcasing this year were mentioned previously. All these Red Hat open source technologies are flexible, transformational, and resilient – characteristics sure to appeal to every customer in today’s evolving landscape.

Do you plan to run any online engagements such as webinars alongside GITEX?
Throughout the annual calendar, we continue to host online webinars across the region, an approach that aligns with our values of connecting, collaborating, and promoting the free exchange of ideas and expertise. In terms of online engagements alongside GITEX 2021, this year’s event will actually see us have more face-to-face interactions with customers, which has been made possible with enhanced HSE measures in place.

How have your regional strategies changed in recent months?
For Red Hat, our regional footprint is designed to provide open-source software and services in the most convenient, rapid way. We work to deliver value to customers and communities through flexible operations that leverage our global resources, local knowledge and insights, and innovative solutions based on experience gained from working with businesses around the globe.
