GITEX 2021: Tenable to Focus on Helping Customers Navigate and Reduce Cyber Risk in the Digital Era
Maher Jadallah, the Senior Director for the Middle East and North Africa at Tenable, speaks about his company’s participation at GITEX 2021
Are you participating in GITEX 2021? If yes, which products and solutions will you be showcasing at GITEX Technology Week?
Yes, we will be participating in GITEX Technology Week 2021 along with our distributor AmiViz. Our focus for the show this year will be on Tenable’s powerful combination of risk-based Vulnerability Management and Active Directory security solutions that helps prevent threat actors from getting a foothold in the corporate environment, stopping attacks before they can begin.
At GITEX 2021, Tenable’s senior leaders and cybersecurity experts will be available to meet and discuss the current cyber threat landscape, including the common Active Directory misconfigurations organisations need to address to reduce their risk. We will also offer demonstrations of our Cyber Exposure platform, including Tenable.io, Tenable.sc, Tenable.ot and Tenable.ad.
What are your expectations from the event this year?
This year, we look forward to having impactful conversations and discussing the most effective ways for customers to navigate and reduce cyber risk in the digital era. With our cybersecurity experts demonstrating how to minimise and eradicate potential threats, we hope customers will be well-informed in Active Directory security solutions by the end of the show.
Moreover, with GITEX being the region’s largest ICT event, it will be a great platform for our team to meet and interact with existing and potential customers and partners from different countries under one roof.
What will be your theme of participation at GITEX?
We want to consistently support organisations taking proactive steps in preventing cyber-attacks and protecting their businesses, specifically highlighting Active Directory security solutions. Given the acceleration of digital transformation and remote work models over the past year, cybercrime rates have concurrently peaked.
Active Directory becomes a prominent and valuable target for threat actors who can use it to gain access into a network and conduct further attacks. Unfortunately, most organisations struggle with Active Directory security due to misconfigurations piling up as domains increase in complexity, leaving security teams unable to find and fix weaknesses before they become business-impacting issues.
With Tenable.ad, organisations can see, predict, and act to address risk in Active Directory to disrupt attack paths before bad actors exploit them, keeping businesses and their data safe. Tenable.ad prevents and detects sophisticated Active Directory attacks without agents and privileges. It also provides the flexibility of two architectural designs – On-prem to keep your data on-site and under your control, and SaaS, so you can leverage the cloud.
Overall, Tenable offers businesses a strategic approach to control cybersecurity risks, providing them with the means to intercept and overcome any challenges they might face in the future.
