GITEX 2021: Ring to Show Off Smart Security Cameras at the Event
Mohammad Meraj Hoda, the Vice President of Business Development for the Middle East and Africa at Ring, speaks about his company’s participation at GITEX 2021
Are you participating in GITEX 2021? If yes, which products and solutions will you be showcasing at GITEX Technology Week?
Yes, Ring will be participating in GITEX Technology Week 2021. We plan to showcase our latest suite of smart home security products, which includes our latest video doorbells and cameras – all Wi-Fi enabled and equipped with HD video, motion-activated alerts, two-way talk, and night vision. We plan to place the spotlight on our newly launched video doorbell wired as well as our Stick Up Cams and Indoor Cam.
What are your expectations from the event this year?
We have been participating in GITEX for over five years and have had great success at the previous editions of the exhibition. We would like to continue to build this momentum by participating in GITEX this year as well. It gives us an opportunity to showcase our innovations in the smart home security space and reiterate our message around neighborhood safety.
Do you hope for a business relief from the event?
Events like GITEX offer us a platform to meet with key decision-makers from the region at one location and conduct live product demos for them. Visitors will get an opportunity to view our products and experience how effective and easy-to-use Ring’s solutions for home security are. This year, we plan to unveil a number of new products and innovative solutions in the region to help customers rest easy in the knowledge that they are in complete control of their home security.
What will be your theme of participation at GITEX?
At Ring, security, privacy, and user control are foundational. We plan to focus on providing the ideal home security solution that is comprehensive, easy to install, proactive, and affordable. We will also promote our end–to–end encryption which is the latest in the evolution of Ring’s security and privacy features that give users control and additional choices for encrypting and decrypting their videos. It is designed so that no unauthorized third party can access user video content.
